Every now and then I’ll open up one of the folders on my laptop and find a story I forgot writing. Then, I discover it all over again. On this page, I’ll list some of my completed projects, along with my current WIPs.

- “Wake” – Honorable Mention 3 – NYC Midnight Short Story Contest, 2nd Round – When Okawa Haruka turns her saimin skills on herself in an effort to escape the realities of 2128 Tokyo, Japan, she finds an unexpected friend in the heart of her dreamworld who tempts her to set her heart free, forget her fantasies and save the human race.
- “Three, Three, Nine” – 4th Place Winner – Writer’s Playground, Sixth Playground Challenge – A marriage arranged between a young Japanese girl and an older Japanese soldier bodes well until a new presence threatens to divide them forever.
- “One Perfect Sip” – When a young, ambitious federal agent crashes a family picnic on Charlie’s vineyard, Charlie is forced to face the consequences of his long buried past in order to have any hope of saving his family’s future.
- “People of the Waters” – When school is cancelled, Asher accompanies his father on a snowy deer hunt and embarks on an unexpected adventure with a new friend.
- “Bomba Day” – A surprising discovery in 2020 Venice returns one of its oldest residents to one life-changing day, seventy-five years earlier.
- “Heads or Tails” – After a gruesome murder, Xiao Long must find the killer, before time runs out and the world he knows is gone forever.
- “Valerie” – When Victor joins the search for a missing young man, he must convince the family of his sincerity, or risk losing himself.
- “Greater Than Gold” – When a young archeologist sets foot on a new dig site, she must uncover more than just artifacts in order to save her future.
- “Pickney” – When young Eddie’s parents split up, he seeks to escape the mundane and finds a new friend in the process.
- “Jack” – 4th Place Winner – NYC Midnight Short Story Contest, Round One – When a young playwright’s last chance at success faces failure, he begins to research the famous serial killer his play is based on with a new – and more hands-on technique.
- “Little Treasure” – Paolo, an orphan and sailor aboard the merchant ship, Invida, utilizes a magic ring and a talking dog to woo Giana, the Captain’s daughter, before Carlo, another sailor, takes her for himself.
- “No Words, Just Paint” – When Natalie is asked to cover a colleague’s class for non-speaking, autistic artists, she must learn to communicate in a new way before she and her class become the next living art project.
- “Pennies for Pizza” – Something is cooking inside Samantha’s food truck, and it isn’t pepperoni! A young, determined entrepreneur gains a sidekick with a sexy smile in this comical tale.
- “The Girl Without A Name” – A young girl who is thrown about through the foster care system is aided by an unlikely friend and takes her Happily Ever After into her own hands.
LARGER WORKS
- Water on the Grid – When Trish meets and falls in love with Liam Rafferty, he helps her to put the gruesome murder of her friend, Chloe, behind her. Years later, Trish’s friends have moved on and she too is ready for the next chapter. But when she and Liam crash off a bride and plunge into an icy river, she’s forced to fight for her life. After the accident, Trish embarks upon a thrilling search for her husband which will force her to ask herself if she is willing to risk her life, confronting the past and her friend’s killer, or give up everything she’s worked toward since Chloe’s death, including the love of her life.
